Cases Journal: time for a new path

Richard Smith email

Cases Journal 2009, 2:9122doi:10.1186/1757-1626-2-9122

Future of Cases Journal

Subramanian Vaidyanathan   (02 December 2009)  Spinal Injuries Unit email

I understand that Cases Journal has stopped accepting new manuscripts.
Whatever version replaces Cases Journal, the new online database or repository of doctor-patient narratives should be
1. Peer-reviewed
2. Indexed in Medline, PubMed, PubMed Central
3. Open acccess online medical repository, which is reliable
4. The article processing fee or its equivalent should be affordable; say, £99 plus VAT
5. Prompt publication

Thanks
Dr S Vaidyanathan
